We have some fun, little waves for lessons and longboarding today. The water has warmed up about 15 degrees from yesterday. It is now 75 degrees. There is a chance for thunderstorms.

The run of ground swell we had at the end of last week and over the weekend as finally dissipated. Today we have 2 ft swell from the ESE. The 12 mph S wind is creating some chop on the wave faces. Water sits around 68 degrees.

The wind is causing a lot of the waves to closeout early. The water temperature is 74 degrees. Most sandbars are probably too deep right now. Look for more waves to start breaking as we head into the afternoon. Be aware of thunderstorms this afternoon.

2 ft swell from the ESE this morning. High tide was at 10:51 AM, so most spots will improve as the tide drops. The wind is light. The water and the air are both about 75 degrees.
